Marble sarcophagus
Ornate box-shaped sarcophagus with a lid in the form of a roof. The three main sides are decorated with garlands of flowers and fruit in relief, which are held on the shoulders of nude, winged erotes who stand at the corners. A plaque with a frame in relief on the main side must have held the name of the dead written in paint. In the empty spaces wavy bands (ribbons) float, their tips ending in little balls. Along the top of the main side is a narrow rope band and at the bottom a similar band and a Lesbian kymation with alternating leaf and dart in relief.
