CAMU Future

CAMU in transition

While still open to the public, the Canellopoulos Museum is currently under renovation. CAMU’s transition into a cultural and creative hub honors the vision of its founders, Paul and Alexandra, who aimed to offer future generations their extraordinary collection, through a contemporary Museum open to all.

The Museum’s community and its collaborations are at the heart of our plans. We have begun with the renewal of the Museum’s exhibition areas and operations; we are enriching the way we present the history and continuity of Greek Art. The use of interactive digital media and the production of a vivid exhibition, artistic and educational programmes constitute the future of The Canellopoulos Museum.

Our goal is openness and the creation of a contemporary relationship with the Greek and international public, keeping in mind their needs. This is why the Canellopoulos Museum remains open. Works in the Museum are in progress, so that it is always – even in part – available to the public.

In the meantime, our website will be regularly updated so as to reveal information about the progress of the works and what you can expect from CAMU in the future.
