Encolpium decorated with a double-headed eagle
A cutout double-headed eagle executed in the repousse technique, with a crown decorated with precious stones (?) above both heads. Interposed between the crown and the heads is a cross with a precious (?) stone at the centre. The plumage is carefully rendered with a naturalistic disposition, as are the eagle’s heads. At the center of the body is a square green stone (emerald?). Pearls hang from the tips of the wings and the tail. At the top is a suspension ring.
