We announce a lecture series for the general public that will accompany the exhibition “Prometheus Unbound – A masterpiece rediscovered”, organized by the Canellopoulos Museum, in collaboration with the Directorate of Conservation of Ancient and Modern Monuments and the Directorate of Modern Cultural Heritage of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture (https://camu.gr/en/activity/prometheus-unbound-masterpiece-rediscovered/).
The lecturers will explore the history and symbolisms of the great painting, examining if from different vantage points. Starting on 6 November, lectures will be given every Wednesday at 17.00 until the end of the exhibition (except for 20.11.2024 and the period of Christmas) at the lecture hall of the Canellopoulos Museum.
